Education and Development

Education and Development

Employee education and development are among the key pillars of our sustainable strategy. We support continuous skills growth, personal development, and the ability to respond to changing market demands. We strive to build an environment that encourages lifelong learning, talent development, and innovative thinking across the entire company.

We offer employees a wide range of professional and soft-skills training, customized learning opportunities, and support for upskilling through career planning or qualification agreements.

We also support employees who are pursuing formal studies – offering study leave or flexible working arrangements. Our employees are eligible to attend professional conferences, trade fairs, and other industry events both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

We maintain long-term cooperation with secondary schools and universities, participate in career fairs, and actively support technical fields. We offer company visits, internships, and placements for both Czech and international students. Through our student program at the MemBrain Innovation Centre, we create space for gaining first professional experience and bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Human Resources

Human Resources

We are committed to creating a work environment based on equal opportunities, fair working conditions, mutual respect, and open communication. Every employee matters to us, and we foster a culture where people feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves. We are a group of more than 250 employees across specialized divisions – MEGA, MemBrain, and MEGA-TEC. Our team has a long-standing, balanced gender representation – approximately 40 % women and 60 % men – including technical, expert, and managerial roles. We care deeply about fair treatment, a well-balanced working environment, and ensuring that everyone has room for both professional and personal growth. We actively support diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities across all age groups and levels of experience. Our priority is to create a workplace that fosters collaboration, strengthens team spirit, and helps people fully realize their potential.

Talent Management

Talent Management

Talent development is a key part of our long-term strategy. We focus on employees with high potential and create conditions for them to grow and bring new ideas to the company.

We regularly identify talent and support them through mentoring, specialized training, and individual development plans. We ensure fair compensation, high-quality working conditions, and opportunities to balance work and personal life.

We gather feedback through regular interviews, surveys, and other evaluation tools to better understand employee needs and continuously improve our working environment. Talent care also includes succession planning to ensure continuity in key roles.

A thoughtful approach to talent development strengthens our competitiveness and contributes to the sustainable growth of the entire company.

Diversity, Flexibility, and Inclusion

Diversity, Flexibility, and Inclusion

We value diversity in thinking, experience, and life paths. We support an environment where everyone feels respected and can realize their potential – regardless of background, gender, age, or other personal characteristics.

Diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusion are an integral part of our HR strategy. We have clear procedures in place for fair recruitment, inclusive leadership, and regular monitoring. The principles of equal treatment are also enshrined in our Code of Ethics.

We set working conditions and remuneration fairly and transparently. Women and men have equal opportunities and conditions for employment across the company. We have maintained a nearly balanced representation of women and men in leadership positions over the long term.

We support flexible forms of work, especially work-life balance, where the nature of the job allows it. We offer home office options, flexible working hours, and customized working arrangements – including support for parents and employees with health limitations.

2025 Student's Workshop

On November 27, 2025, MemBrain in Stráž pod Ralskem hosted its traditional Student Workshop, organized, as in previous years, by the Czech Membrane Platform (CZEMP). Once again, the event provided a forum for talented students from Czech and foreign universities to present the results of their research projects in the field of membrane processes and related technologies.

Student Scientific Conference

On November 20, 2025, a Student Scientific Conference was held under the auspices of FCHT and ÚCHI, which MemBrain has long supported as a partner of the chemical engineering sections. As a sponsor, MemBrain participated in the evaluation and awarding of students (committee: Marek Bobák, Libor Šeda, Ondřej Horký); eight papers related to membrane technologies were presented in their three sections, and the evaluation also took into account the practical benefits. The support amounted to CZK 15,000 (3× CZK 5,000) and the students received promotional items from the MEGA group. Finally, MemBrain presented opportunities for paid internships, cooperation on diploma theses, and subsequent employment in MEGA group companies.

E-Mobility Days

At the end of July, the MEGA premises turned into a test centre. In cooperation with Volkswagen Czech Republic, we introduced our employees to the latest models, including electric vehicles, and opened a discussion on practical aspects of e-mobility. Throughout the day, employees had the opportunity to test drive nine different models – including the ID.3 GTX, ID.7, and ID. Buzz. The follow-up lecture focused on real-life driving range, charging options in everyday use, and differences in servicing compared to combustion engine vehicles. The event also featured refreshments for all participants.

Children’s Day in Stráž pod Ralskem: “A Journey Through Fairytales”

The traditional event “A Journey Through Fairytales” offered families from Stráž pod Ralskem and the surrounding area a fun-filled program with fairytale characters and a closing celebration on the beach. We see community gatherings in the places where we operate as an important part of our social responsibility. We are happy to support local events that bring together children, parents, and employees.
