Sustainable governance of the MEGA Group

MEGA builds its brand on an open and responsible approach to its commitments toward all stakeholders. The company continuously improves its processes and corporate governance practices. MEGA ensures compliance with legal requirements, evaluates risks, and fosters a strong corporate culture.

The management of the companies within the MEGA Group has committed, through its Code of Ethics, to adhering to fair business practices and fostering customer and supplier relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. The company firmly condemns corruption, recognizing it as a serious issue in business competition that often leads to decisions made for non-objective reasons, hinders development and innovation, distorts fair competition, and harms the MEGA Group. MEGA emphasizes expertise, solidarity, and transparency. The companies within the Group have clear governance and control structures, with well-defined rights and responsibilities among owners, corporate bodies, employees, customers, and suppliers. MEGA maintains balanced relationships with all stakeholders.

Compliance program

As part of our corporate governance, we have a comprehensive compliance program in place. This includes our Code of Ethics, Supplier Code, OS 114 Criminal Prevention Measures (an internal document), and a Whistleblower Protection System. These rules define the expected behavior of employees and business partners, help to prevent illegal conduct, and ensure a safe environment for reporting possible violations.

Code of Ethics

Code of Ethics and Supplier Code

The trust of customers and other stakeholders is one of MEGA's most valuable assets. This is why the group has clear rules for ethical and responsible behavior: The Code of Ethics defines uniform standards for all employees and provides practical guidance for decision-making in line with legal requirements and internal regulations, thereby protecting MEGA's people, the environment, and strengthening public trust. MEGA requires adherence to the rules of its Code of Ethics from its business partners and suppliers as well. Compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct is a fundamental prerequisite for establishing business relationships. The requirements outlined in the Supplier Code of Conduct are contractually binding. Compliance with these principles is also part of the sustainability strategy, which MEGA continuously evaluates using specific KPIs. The company's leadership actively promotes and communicates adherence to the principles outlined in the Code of Ethics.
