Benefits of modules replacement

Saving money on OPEX

Thanks to a lower number of membranes, the customers save money on membrane replacement but also CIP chemicals and water (Option A). There is a 20% smaller membrane area that needs to be cleaned. The performance stays the same as in the case of using modules EDR-II/250.

The same replacement rate of consumables

MEGA keeps the same replacement of all consumables as all the current customers are used to. It means keeping 25% for membranes based on pro-rata temporis.

Improved microbiological characteristics thanks to the limited blind spaces

The new generation of electrodialysis modules is characterized by several improvements which ensure better cleanability. It was enhanced by better internal flow and spacers improvements. All the blind spaces were minimized not only in the module but also in its surroundings. The collectors have a new system of flexible connections which have no blind spaces.

All services ensured and covered by MEGA

The MEGA team ensures all the services regarding the module replacement. It means that all the piping changes, cabling, electro upgrade are a part of the servicing package, which the customers get.

Additional income

The possibility of increasing the performance of all MEGA units by implementing EDR-20/200 (Option B) modules results in processing more tonnes of feed per day. The customer obtains more tonnes of the final powder which brings additional income.
