Amine Solvent Regeneration

Bipolar electrodialysis removes heat-stable salts from amine solvents used in post-combustion carbon capture. The purified amine returns to the process, reducing the need for fresh solvent and its costly disposal.

Compared with replacing degraded amine, regeneration using MEGA technology can be two to three times less expensive.
