REVERSE OSMOSIS

Reverse osmosis (RO) is one of many membrane processes using a semi-permeable membrane to achieve separation of substances dissolved in liquid. This semi-permeable membrane is permeable for water and retains micro-organisms, colloids, ions of dissolved salts and also molecules of organic substances. Reverse osmosis can be used in many branches not only because of its technical possibilities but also considering the following facts.
