MEGA a.s. (Inc.) is a Czech private company operating in the field of membrane production, waste water treatment using membrane processes, surface finishing (complete supplies and service of PPG products) and ecology. The main goal of the company is to provide first-class technology and complex services in these areas. Electrophoresis

Electrophoretic (EF) cells are suitable for application in cataphoretic paint coating. Cataphoresis is the environmentally friendly coating technology for the surface preparation of metal which require significant anticorrosive protection. The cell comes in two configurations, a flat or a tubular. MEGA produces tubular EF cells with own design and delivers flat cell as well.

Painted subject is connected as a cathode in direct-current field of electrolyte (aqueous paint solution) and attracts cations from paint. EF cells are connected as anodes and they are used to keep an equilibrium concentration in paint bath.
